2011 Shining Star Nominations

It’s that time of year again!  NAA-NWI  is ready to accept your nominations for the 2011 Shining Star Award.

We started this award last year as a way to honor those who have worked hard to improve the quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum (and their families) here in Northwest Indiana.  Last year’s recipient, Mary Michael, has served the special needs community for over 30 years.  Many families have been blessed by her compassion, warmth, dedication and intelligence.  These are the qualities we are looking for in the nominations.

So tell us who you feel deserves to nominated for the 2011 Shining Star Award.  It can be an individual, group or organization.  Voting will begin on Monday, March 28th and end Friday, April 1st.  We will announce our top 3 finalists, who will all be our guests of honor at the Shining Star Banquet which will be held on Sunday, May 1st.

Nominations are now closed.  You can cast your vote here!

*The top 3 nominees will be our guests at luncheon.  We will announce who the top 3 finalists are on Friday, April 1st.
