Deadline for Helping Hand Grant Apps is May 31st

The 2010 Helping Hand Grant program is coming to an end soon! We gave away $4,000 in 2009 to families in Lake and Porter counties who needed helping paying for therapy, therapeutic horseback riding lessons, doctor visits, supplements, social skills groups, and tuition.

We have been busy holding fundraisers so that we can continue to provide much needed financial assistance to local families in a time when the state of Indiana is cutting Waiver programs and insurance companies are denying coverage for basic testing & therapies. What we ask of you is that you help us spread to your friends and family whenever we hold a fundraising event.

The application must be postmarked by May 31st to be considered. Don’t forget to fill the application out completely and thoroughly and include all supporting documentation.

Read the GRANT FAQ page before downloading the application.
